Custom Quip Engineering is excited to be introducing a new member of our team, Ray Padfield. We believe it is important to meet our clients’ needs as our business expands and our client base grows. In order to help service our South West region better, Ray, who is based in Albany, will be joining our team as a Sales Representative and bringing with him hands-on experience, extensive heavy vehicle and design knowledge and a friendly attitude.
Who is Ray?
Ray Padfield is an
experienced Vehicle Body Builder who understands the importance of product quality, suitability and customer support. He first joined the Custom Quip Engineering team in 2006, where he completed his apprenticeship and continued his career with Custom Quip Engineering, first as a fabricator and then as the Workshop Foreman. During his 8 year tenure, Ray developed a hands-on, intricate knowledge of the product line, heavy vehicles, and innovative design solutions In 2015, Ray started on a new venture, founding Great Southern Alignments, where he works as an owner operator providing mobile laser wheel alignments, suspension repairs, axle replacements, brakes and bearings &
trailer repairs.
In conjunction with his work at Great Southern Alignments Ray has recently re-joined Custom Quip Engineering as a Sales Representative servicing the South West Region of Bunbury to Esperance, with the aim of providing better accessibility and service to all valued customers.
What this means for the South West Region
A Sales Representative with a vast 13 years of experience will bring only positives for the South West Region. Ray’s experience means he has an intimate understanding of the customer’s needs and will be able to assist through drawing on his bank of knowledge. Should our customers in the south-west have any questions, complaints or worries, Ray will be there to assist them. We look forward to having him working alongside us, and alongside our south-west customers, helping the region flourish.
Custom Quip Engineering specialises in the design and manufacture of a variety of equipment, including farming;
heavy road transport; and purpose-built trailers. We also offer tipper trailer hire and
grain tippers for sale. Over the years, CQE has also expanded to offer additional in-house services, including rentals, repairs and maintenance, and trailers for sale.
